She was famous for her character Jane Kerkovich-Williams on the ABC comedy series Happy Endings, Denise "Jo" Mahoney in the final two seasons of the medical comedy-drama Scrubs and her part as Tiger in the Hulu comedy series Future Man, and her character of Hannah Wyland in Quantico. She starred in the Fox comedy Pivoting in 2022. In the past, she played an supporting role in the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa.After college, Coupe took classes in improvisational comedy at The Groundlings and ImprovOlympic. In 2003, she toured France acting as a soldier in the all-female version King Lear. The one-woman show, The Patriots (a sketch show written by her) was launched in November 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She was awarded the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. Coupe was wed from December 2007 to June 2013 to Randall Whittinghill (acting teacher, puppeteer). She announced her engagement to Darin Oliveren via Instagram on November 27 on the 27th of November. They were vacationing in New Zealand when they got married on the 24th of December 2014. They filed for divorce in the year of 2018. From April 2011 through May 2013 Coupe was a part of the ABC ensemble comedy series Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. The show was canceled by ABC on May 3, 2013 despite critical acclaim. It also gained an acclaim and cult status. Following the time that Happy Endings was cancelled, she starred as a regular in the final season of House of Lies. She also starred with Jay Harrington on the comedy series Benched. It debuted on October 28, 2014. Later she played the role in the role of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
