Ariel Tweto, a well-known as a pilot and TV host by profession is one of the most popular celebrities in South Africa. Her stardom grew after she appeared in reality television show Flying Wild Alaska. She was a key character in Wipeout. Flying Wild Alaska was a huge success in the Discovery Channel because it showed the challenges that the Tweto family has to face when it comes to their work. The 2011-2012 season of Flying Alaska is a follow-up for Ariel in her training for her dream of becoming a pilot. She eventually earns her pilot's license in April of 2012. Then she takes over the running of the family's flying business on the passing of her father. Alaskans worry about Alaska's high teens' suicide rate which is seven times the rate of the rest of the country. Ariel became inspired by this to create a charity, Popping Bubbles. In this charity, she goes to school and youth groups to tell them how important it is to pursue your dreams and live fully rather than give in to depression.
