Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and television host most well-known as hosts for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl was born in Little Rock and grew up in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie suffering from Polio. She was in difficulties with her mother growing as a teenager. Sheryl stated that at one time, her mother stabbed the father of her child because she was getting close to the father. Sheryl went into military service following her college graduation. Her interest in comedy became stronger. She was the first woman to be a finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. The year 1992 saw her make her TV debut as a regular participant on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started being on The Talk as co-host. The actress has appeared on fictional programs including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
