Fawn Mckay
Fawn MCK Brodie was born on the 15th of September 1915 at Ogden Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay directed her ingenious writing talents as well as her remarkable research skills to creating the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled The Only Man is able to know My History. This title is derived from a funeral speech delivered by the founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked his listeners by declaring"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. No man knows my history. My history is not known by anyone. Fawn (29 year old) said that, since her moment of candor, three-hundred writers have risen to the occasion. A lot of people have detested him while others have deified. A few have even made the diagnosis. The documents aren't there, it's that they're so inconsistent. It's a daunting job to find these records by separating the first-hand versions from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon stories with other ones to form a cohesive mosaic. This is exciting and it's enlightening. It's a task which Fawn Brodie committed herself professionally. Her work in research and writing made her famous all over all over the globe: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The Southern Thomas Jefferson. The intimate Histories (1974), and Richard Nixon.
